Suggested Links/Blogs

Below are a few websites and blogs that I recommend:

Spit Up & Sippy CupsThis blog is written by a former co-worker of mine, turned Mom Mentor. It is real, honest, funny, and just a really great parenting blog. As described from her site - "I’m Lisa and I’m a Mom Mentor. My goal is to provide emotional support and guidance to Mommas at any stage of their journey…because Mommin’ ain’t easy." -- I am the first to agree - Mommin' isn't easy, but it helps surrounding yourself with like-minded people, and Lisa is all of that and more! Plus, I have heard nothing but amazing things about her Mentoring sessions!

We Choose Today: I love this blog. I won tickets to a concert years ago and was seated beside another winner. We got to talking and she mentioned her blog. It is written by two women and is an amazing mix of travel and lifestyle and just about living your best life.

Emily BitesThis is a really awesome cooking blog that focuses on lightened up recipes and includes WW point values on the recipes.

The Journal of a BookwormThis is a great blog about books and book reviews.

Mommy Connections Durham: "For new moms who want to find joy amid the chaos of early parenthood and a supportive community to rely on when the going gets tough, Mommy Connections offers a place for you and your babe to learn, laugh and connect with others in a meaningful way." - This community is amazing and is run by an incredible woman. The programs they offer are awesome and through the community I have met some incredible moms.

A Slip of ChicFashion, Lifestyle and all things Cute - a blog written by my cousin with some really great recipes and lifestyle ideas.

Sunny Side UpThis blog's focus is organization, home decor and life in general. There are some great ideas to be found within it

Lunchbox RxThis blog includes some amazing, healthy lunch ideas and recipes for both children and adults. It is written by my former family doctor - an amazing woman! - and is a really awesome resource for healthy living.

Minimalist MD: This is another blog by my former family doctor based around "Simple strategies to promote wellness through the practice of Lifestyle Medicine". It is another great resource for healthy living and has some really great tips.
